Every river comes with their own sand and gravel
At 11:31 am, on Wednesday the 14th of January, 2026; a special service was held in the renovated sanctuary of the Christian Church of Bayonnais, Haiti, where Madame Linda Jouseme Simeon and Monsieur Simon Valery Actionnel II Fleurisma were respectively installed as the Head Master of the Kindergarten section in Cathor and the Director of Operations at OFCB Ministries.
Linda is a former student of ICB graduated in 2012. She is the spouse of Monsieur Welson Simeon, who is also an alumnus of ICB. Linda and Welson have two boys and are active members in the church here. Linda has been trained in the school administration regarding kindergarten.
Simon Valery, known as Val, is the unique son and the last child out of 4 of Actionnel and Yolande Fleurisma. Val got his degree from UNCC in International Business and working on his Maters online from home in that same field.
Val expressed his desire some 5 or 6 years ago, while he was still going to school in Charlotte, NC; about his returning home to help in the ministry here in Bayonnais. It was a huge shock for some folks since nobody would have expected for any young and good sense boys or girls to make a decision to return into Haiti, where law and respect for individuals are no longer respected.
However, we felt led yesterday to share with both a scripture that we like a lot, Joshua chapter 1: 1-9. Be courageous and strong! The Lord be with you! The land land of Haiti is getting more and more slippery and dangerous. Weapons are being spread more and more in the country. Gangs seem to be coming more and more officialized. Everything has come together to cause failure here. Traitors at the workplace and lack of loyalty in our society have made it impossible to be successful. But, the same God that called Joshua and was with him is also going to be with you.
So, welcome to the administration and the leadership of OFCB Ministries and God with you, Linda, and Val!
