I am very sad for the People In Nicolas. On July 29th, we traveled over the mountain to the campus of Nicholas. Since we got back from there, I have been doing fundraising in the church to help them with food since hunger is very real there. Corn and peanuts they have planted are dying because of lack of rain. People at the church in Cathor have given clothes and money to help. Even me and Actionnel have given our own clothes.
We found some very sick people there that we brought down to the clinic and we paid the fees for them. It was an extremely sad experience to see people living in such misery.
But, at the same, all 22 of us who went there, 19 women and 3 men, our lives have changed since we got to learn to appreciate what we have.
That weekend of July 29th through the 31st of July will never be forgotten in our lives as christian.
