Hey Jen, what’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? When I’m faced with a decision, always ask myself, “What would I do if I wasn’t afraid?”
What’s the last great book you read, or what are you currently reading? My most favorite book ever that I read and reread over and over again is Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. She is also my idol even though I don’t think she would want me to have any idol other than my highest self! I had the privilege of being a member of her congregation in Detroit for 2 years and then got to meet her again just a few years ago in Raleigh. God help me, I do want to be her when I grow up. 🙂
You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick? Bon Jovi. Always Bon Jovi. ‘Bad Medicine’ and ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’ are my “go tos.”
Fondest memory of Bayonnais? Hard to choose! The entire trip was incredible. I’d have to say the nightly “mango parties” with our team and Actionnel. This is where I learned the proper way to eat a mango, listened to stories from Actionnel, and bonded with members of the team who were all complete strangers to me before we started our journey together.
