Who’s Jodi? We welcomed Jodi to our board earlier this year and we love having her thoughtful perspective. She’s a school-based mental health therapist here in Charlotte. Her work focuses on children who attend schools with high needs and high poverty rates. An amazing addition to our board with that professional experience! Jodi is on our student sponsorship team and her family sponsors a 10 year-old girl in Bayonnais.
She’s already written her first blog post last month about how sponsoring a student is helping them meet some of their most basic needs! If you missed it, go here and give a read… it’s a wonderful reminder of how sponsorship supports students with more than just education!

Recently, her family has grown! Check out these cuties below – 2 sweet guinea pigs. Peaches is a short haired pig and very sassy. Kiwi is long haired guinea pig and super sweet. So adorable!!
Jodi’s favorite piece of advice? Always listen to those who are older than you. Their life experience is invaluable.
