June 14, 2024 marks the graduation ceremony of the Kindergarten School at ICB ministries named \u201cEtoile Brillante\u201d or “Shinning Star.” The Kindergarten program was founded in 2011 in order to offer a qualified education for the youngest children in the community. In the presence of parents, teachers, and people from Bayonnais, this event marks the 13th promotion for a new turn for the children of ICB’s future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were 51 graduates in this ceremony. According to the principal of the kindergarten school, Venette Merilus, \u201cThis number proves the commitment of their parents and shows the importance of education. Most parents were unable to attend school themselves. Meanwhile, they have done everything they can to push their children to school. It\u2019s something we can\u2019t take for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actionnel Fleurisma, Director of OFCB, took the opportunity to remind parents and students of the importance of education. Education is as important to students as food is. He stressed the importance of food in people\u2019s lives and the importance of education in society saying, \u201cFood plays an undeniable role in the well-being of our lives. So does education.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the ceremony, some parents were interviewed. They didn\u2019t hesitate to express their joy by seeing their children achieve this accomplishment. Lavira Alcicat shares, \u201cToday is an exceptional day to see my children accomplish extraordinary things. What an honor to have one of the best students of this promotion! I feel so proud of her. Jose-Naiphca is my treasure. I invest all my money in her because she will be the future.\u201d Lavira hopes to see her daughter be a part of the EWO program. \u201cWe are very happy to take part in the event! We are sending greetings to the leaders and the teachers of the school. This school is a blessing for the community of Bayonnais.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
